  2. Got a couple of Hudson projects going though I must admit, I'm not getting much shop time in on em lately. First is a 1942 Commodore Eight Coupe. I've posted it on here before. Gonna drop it down on the ground and update suspension and drivetrain although I'm still contemplating keeping the original straight eight and do some intake and header work on it.

Second, a '42 four door sedan was a parts car for the coupe but it's now very well on it's way to becoming a phantom sedan convertible.
Intend to make to appear 'factory' and not a hack job.

I've lusted after these trucks since I saw one for the first time 33 years ago.

    I STILL want one.

Here's a '47 truck I had for a while. It was on a '53 Buick frame and still had the Buick straight 8 with a dynaflow. Sold it to a guy in Maryland.

Heres a customers 1950 Commodore 6 that hasn't been licensed since 1957, 42,000 miles & check out the phone # & date on the oil change stickers (thats 7/1955 & the phone is 6-9180!), going to make her stop, steer & run with a dual carb intake off a Hornet, it was a shame to wash the barn dust off it.
It came out of eastern Oregon & is super clean & rust free. [IMG]

  16. Here is a cool Union 76 ad I found somewhere a few years ago, with a '37 TP in it! Notice, the WPA "A" gas ration sticker in the lower right windshield? The car has a 1942 California license plate on it.

Im in the process of building a 1939 Hudson 112 Coupe. I have a ways to go. I have a photo album in my profilee and I am documenting the build and covering Hudson events. Follow the link on my profile for some of that info.
This weekend is the start of the 2009 National Hudson Meet 100th Anniversary of Hudson Motor Cars in Pontiac MI. I will post pics and articles throughout the week.

Hey Matt. I can meet and Greet Sunday, or Monday for sure. Sunday there is a cruise in at Bakers in Milford MI. Its a great place to gather, lots of room for the cars and good food.
Monday I will be cruising the hotel parking lots!

Rich, I'll respectfully disagree. I'm pretty sure that 52-53 wasp used the similar but smaller tail lights as a hornet, which were horizontal lights directly on top of the bumper...
