As tradtional as a 305 can muster with my budget

Only tradtional thing is the generator ( 64 ford ) and the mis-matched valve covers.

Here's a pic of El Tiki's engine. I don't have a recent pic yet of the Grant Spalding Flamethrower dual coil distributor yet. 1956 Olds 324.

  21. Lotta great engines and a lot of cool and interesting ways to do things.

What's with the SBC non-trad comments?

Geez, they came on the scene in 55, were being swapped into other cars late 56 and into 57 in my small town.

Seems to me they're as trad as anything else.

Not to mention that some of the complainers would have a hard time showing the SBC their taillights....

  24. Someone asked for FEs. Still a work in progress (gotta get those plug wires cleaned up!), and not on par with some in this thread, but she's mine and I did it all myself (except the pinstriping)

    A couple of Ford Y-blocks...:)

  26. This is from a few months ago before I put it in my car, it needs valve covers and the intake polished, but a thread cant have too many y-blocks. Edb block, ecg-z heads, edb(not pictured) exhaust manifolds, bolted to an air cooled ford-o-matic.
