Let's see the Heavy Metal Flake Paint Jobs

looking for some pics of heavy metal flake paint... any body have some?

 

Really the only good ones I have are from Vegas. Flake on the East Coast isn't the same as flake on the West Coast.

 

heavy chunky flake in in the maroon & yellow.
red pinstipe designs add some dimension to the maroon.
purple pinstripe outlining the flames is a super vibrant contrast agaist yellow, too.
these pics, unfortunately, do capture the flavor.
thought i'd share em anyway.

What base did you use under your blue flake? Is the flake itself Metalflake Sky Blue?

 

These are in progrees shots using .015" flake

 

WOW!

 

Finished after about 2 lbs of flake and 7 gal of clear.

its the new sherwin willams fake mystic , in the right light it is crazy matalic gold!!!! other times its crazy matalic green , yet other times it is strate no metalic purple ,,,, paint is cool!!!

For anyone considering heavy flake, don't punch 304 louvers in your car. It's really hard on the fingers.
