  4. I am looking for banjo's now and found a couple nice ones that I like for my '29 Ford cabriolet:

...both will require steering shaft/column mods and a lot of work on the wheel, but they are not cookie cutter Ford banjo's and they have nice character. Buick also made some nice looking banjos too.

  5. My 39 banjo wheel [lots of JB weld in this one] and my 40 Buick banjo. Used a 13 inch hoop and bent the spokes up to meet it for a dished wheel. Don't know which I'l use on my 34 coupe.

Here's the one for my coupe...a real crusty crestliner that was found FREE in the hamb classifieds...had to buy a few random parts for it but it's getting closer. JohnnyA

I found an extremely rare 1939 Packard Super 8 Steering wheel. Adding a late 40's lincoln horn ring to it to add some more flair. This is the car that it came in. Its going in my '40 Merc Coupe -Fryguy

  8. I posted on this thread earlier, #64, but since then I resized my Studebaker Wheel down by an inch and a half and came up with a button. The rim will be re-cast later this year. For temporary, I wrapped it in two layers of 1/8" Dacron rope.

Nice rework, Russ! I think you improved the looks of that wheel tremendously.

  14. After 2 years in my mancave the wood was badly cracked by expansion/contraction from humidity changes. I was sad to cover up the wood I worked so hard on, but this should be bulletproof for a long time
    About 300 ft of para-cord.
