Lets see some hubcap pics of kustom, homemade jobs, or even stockers that are just kool lookin
heres ones I made for my car only got the front 2 done because I'm still looking for cruiser skirts long enough for the back.
Need more of an angle to see the center cap.
Oh great here is a "let's see some pix" post.......aka wasting Ryan's bandwidth money......Heck just go walk around a car show or just look beyond the realm of cars you will suprised as what looks cool.
Oh yea, or dig around in the trunks at junkyards and you will be amazed at what you will find. I found a set of flipper caps in the back of a 53' Buick once.
damn Pics kick ass plus its the wintertime...lack of shows.. more time to figure out what yhour gonna do with your ride so ill waste some bandwith
heres a pic of a early caddy hubcap with a round bullet on my 50 ford
Boy, it doesn't seem so long ago that I posted this same request, because I too like to waste ryans bandwith.
Heres one I found...its a 56' olds fiesta spinner on the 57' wheel. Back in the day you could order spinners and chrome do-dads to customize your hubcaps. I'd love to find some loose spinners to complete a set of these.
I'm putting a set of these on Pepe as soon as I modify them to fit the Ford wheels.
haha... I change my hubcaps more often than I do my boxers! wait... what did I just admit???
You must change your caps twice a day then, because I saw your boxers and they weren't walking around on their own!
Floor===51Ratt was just showing off some spinners he had found in a box in his garage.....think they were heading for the classifieds. If you can't find his post or him, lemme know and I'll get a better spelling....SHOULD I be wrong.
Here's my mini-bullet modification.
Not spectacular but it makes me feel tough when I drive . lol
Not a good pic ....but here is a 56 Plymouth cap with a chrome bullet in the middle...
Hey Muttley, these kick ass, what are they off of?
man..this makes me wanna finish getting my caddy sombreros ready to mount!!!
I was told they came off of a '50's travel trailer. They are the same size as a '40 Ford cap but the mounting is different. The recessed parts of the caps will be done in copper leaf.
hey rustypipes! i got some '56 Olds wheelcovers laying around here somewhere...
Here's a seldom seen 1950.5 Ford spinner
I know this isn't what you had in mind, but they are custom made. Spun aluminum over the original center cap.
Oh great, how about we save more bandwidth money and not post complaints about other peoples posts. I thought the idea of the HAMB was to share ideas and inspiration (words and PICTURES) with fellow rodders.
Late-50's or early-60's aftermarket.......................(Oh yeah, the pic is on my FTP host, so don't get your panties in a bunch !!! )
Those things are sweet lookin!! I wanna set
Did you ride the short bus at school?
lol, Either that or he's an ex hall monitor that use to kiss the teacher's ass!
Lots of aluminum chips left over after the adapters for the 32 caps were done.
Even more aluminum chips left over when the billet caps were done.
I'm running that same cap on my 49 Pontiac. my favorite aren't caps just wall hangers
