You have your work cut out for you but looks great. The car behind it though,WOW. Your house in the back reminds me of a dear friend I lost a few years ago. He had one very similar, almost exactly the same. He lived in Norway. I miss him very much. Good luck with your build.

My old Sedan Delivery actually started out as a '31 Model A Slant Window 4 door Sedan. It was '32-ized by using parts from a '32 Sedan and Vicky.

Stephen, your car is way cool, I'd love to have one very much like it. However, for a hotrod I would rather have a track style roadster. I'm gathering pieces for one currently, 300 six with a top loader 4 speed and a champ quick change. It will actually be more like the cars in the "specials" thread than the "modifieds" thread but sort of a combination of both styles. Haha, my ideas keep evolving.

This car I want to be pretty much stock appearing, but with a warmed up engine, modern transmission, F1 steering and Flathead Ted brakes. I want it to be easier and more fun to drive, but not obvious to the uninformed that it wasn't all done by Henry.

Thank you. It's my first Hot Rod. I haven't had it long. I've had mostly 60s cars my whole life. I'm really enjoying it and everybody here on the HAMB. A track style roadster sounds like a lot of fun. I wish you luck with it and your Sedan.

I really like that one. I'm considering that color for mine but I kind off feel like a copy cat if I do. It just looks so good though.

I had the fun of helping friends with there "A" sedan hot rods in the early 1960s,but I had a 28A roadster.
The best part of Steve's sedan was ,it was not chopped*,had room for 4 to 6 to ride ,if a few were gals came along.
Used Steve's on camping trips too,not every trip worked as planned,we broke a axle on one trip out on Tamiami Trail passed 40 mile bend.. Sent Peter ,hitch hike back to nearist phone in Frog City ,called Steve's Mom,an she got a extra axle to us the next AM,
    Camping was in Naples

I have ALWAYS loved Model A Fords. My oldest brother had a 30 Model A coupe, chopped and channeled but full fendered and running a 401 Buick in the early to mid 60's. You can't imagine what that car did for me as an up-and-coming hot rodder. In the same era, a neighbor about 1/4 mile away had a 28-29 2-door sedan. One day I saw him driving by our house (with the vinyl missing from the roof) and he was sitting on the roof, steering the car with his feet! I could not believe my eyes. He was a card to say the least. Damn. Those times will never happen again!
