Great thread! I love customs, I'm just not much of a car guy. I prefer trucks. I'm on the fence right now with my Stude. I generally don't have much trouble deciding what to do. I think I'm ready to pull the trigger, and go this direction. I chopped her 1&1/2" I think I should use this grill and a take a 3" section out of the cab. What do you custom guys think?

 

Sancho, that 58/59 chevy has a cool grille. Dont see many custom grilles for that year

i have to gree, i do like custom trucks myself as i own a 50 3100 chevy with a lot of mods, but some of those just have a big NOOOOOOOO all over them

GreenGrenade, that 58 is Dennis McPhail's truck. It has a lot of slick mods by Jeff Myers (finkd).

Derrick, yours is actually the truck I was looking for. I couldn't find any shots of it online. I read the article; congrats on the cover. I think it's cool that you didn't repaint it. I like it, a lot.

I see the dream truck, the kopper kart and the lil nugget and then I read this shit. This seems to be the general thought about true Kustoms these days. I guess folks don't understand it. Sad sad sad.

The lil nugget is one of my all time favorites. That truck had chrome heads. I love the kopper kart too. It just sits sooo badass.
