Here is one of mine. BBC/TH350 S10 rear, Camaro clip(little too wide). Leather interior. There are some things I need to fix on it and somethings that I do not like about it. I was going to put new wheels on it but I need to put some narrower control arms on it, and I am unemployed. I bought new front tires to get it on the road and drivable.

Nice car....I had a Camaro clip on mine too....and yeah, was toooo wide! Those narrowed control arms are going to run you around a grand.....thats what made me buy an original frame from a HAMBer on here for a $100, hacked off the camaro clip and went back to the original front end..(then intalled the mustang II) Best decision I ever made! just a thought..:)

OK, here's an update on mine. I had a few setbacks, had to have surgery, then couldn't do anything for 6 weeks after, not to mention the month before surgery, so after 2 1/2 months off I'm way behind schedule. Shoulda been chopped by now. This is the first time out of the garage since the suspension mods. My pygmy goat misty always inspects my work.

She even ran my door repairs through a series of impact tests.

And after a thorough inspection she came up to me and nodded her approval. I was honored.

RodinRon, liking that 54 looks good unchopped, is that a meat goat or just a pet ?

WestsideLefty, we call them wheels "dope boy wheels " will add crime scenes to my slang dictionary ! Ha Ha !

She's a pet, given to me by my daughter who grew up and moved out, leaving me with a bad gardener, when it comes to trimming my shrubs, she's no Edward Scissorhands.
I never really liked the roof line on these cars, but it must be growing on me since now I'm starting to wonder if I should chop it or not, especially now with spring approaching.

Mine has the 4" wide wheels now. For me the wheels is more of a style thing. To me it says street machine, i would rather have it say cool custom.

aaahahahahaha...Edward Scissorhands...that's a laugh! I saw a "fainting" goat once and that is very starge!! anyway, my vote is to go with the unchopped look. I think these things look cool slammed and unchopped...just my $.02

In my humble oppinion (wether you want it or not!) I prefer the '53/'54's unchopped, but the '49-'52's can go either way for me. My vote is a traditional lowered stance (no bags yadda yadda) with the stock roof.

    That goat rules.

This thread has me itching to get started on my '54! I should be able to start when I get back from Lonestar and from there I will work on it slowly over the next year or two.

I have 365 Cad V8, NOS Weiand 2 x 4 intake, True Cad Sombrero wheel covers, '53 Desoto Gauges and some other odds and ends. Now if I can just find a decent stock front suspension because I sold mine off when I though I was going with a MII. I still may but the thought of having the original suspension lately is appealing.
