Came across these folks near Dinosaur, Colorado... They purchased the car as it sits, tuned it up and hit the road..

My 1953 Chevrolet 150
-261 Chevrolet 6 Isky E-4 cam
-Vintage Edelbrock intake
-Late 50's Vette spd
-N.O.S. Hurst shifter (leftover from my dads oval track racing days)
-59 Chevy rear changed to leaf springs
-All work done by myself and father
My 49 is dare I say getting close to being doneish
Man, I like that cleaned up grille

Nice job on the grille and the hood ! No easy task to weld the hoods on these Chevys.
The pain was removing the peak the rest was cake

Here's one that is near perfect for a beater
Are those aftermarket skirts? They look for better than the stockers I found in the trunk of my '52.
I don't know where they originated from - certainly not the usual style of skirts seen on these cars.
Let us know if you find the mfr.
