Here's an old picture of mine... I'll have new pictures of it in a month or so. It'll have a new gold flatty, chrome inner fender panels, shiny black paint with flamed front fenders, and diamond pleated interior installed... Just have to button'er up!
Here are a few I like and a couple I have owned. You can't beat a nice 40 sedan for going down the road. The last two were mine and were owned about 20 years apart. I am still wanting another one.
Here is one that ran at the Nostalgia drags last year at NE Dragway. I love the looks of 40's with no hoods (Coupes and sedans).
Thanks Labold! Your sedans are Beautiful. I liked the comparison photos. Bob McCoys 40 was the inspiration for my 40. I'm kinda bummed.I've been tryin to upload more photos but the uploads keep failing. Any hints?
How did you post the first couple pictures? I use Photobucket. You can also load your pics on here once you start your own album. Look at this link. Good luck, and look forward to seeing more pics of that beautiful 40 of yours. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44119
Dave Cunningham's 1940 Ford sedan before the wheel cut outs and quad headlights. And another one with the wheel cut outs. I like this car so much better with the scallops.
Here's my old '40 sedan, the photo taken in about '71 I think. It was coming along really well - until I got the hots to make it a coupe... Oh, well...
