So I got this 61 Belair bubbletop from scottyt last Nov. I'm done with my lovely wife's gig, and nearly caught up enuff to get more done faster. I wanna be inspired and hope to inspire others who got em. Let's see all the 61-2 Impalas, Belairs, Biscaynes, etc. Any style, wagon 4dr 2dr, but especially the bubbletop versions. So far I know mine's gonna be "grandma blue" and lowered but not really a lowrider. Here's the best pic I got cuz the shop's crowded. Show em if ya got em.

I have a friend building a '61 bubbletop and he is in need of clean (or at least workable) fenders.

if anyone has some, please let me know!

My '62 Biscayne, sort of a mid 60's sleeper street racer with a little bit of custom mixed in, very understated. Marty McF.

  10. The way a 409 was meant to be used.

    Here's my friends 62...Original roman red 409 340horse 4 speed car..
Unfortunately he met up with a poll a couple years back and messed it up REAL bad.
He still has it and plans are for us to do another full restoration on it..
It was done for about 3 month's before the accident..

this has been passed on to another hamber, i couldn't bear to fuck it up with an automatic, p/s, p/b and air. maybe we'll see it at the hamb drags with an even meaner disposition!

This is my driver. Just finished a 2500 mile vacation with 3 buddies, 2 tents, five air mattresses, 6 duffle bags, 4 lawn chairs, a BBQ grill, a tool box and a big cooler of beer that included GG Indy and the Hot Rod reunion. Junkyard Vortec with bigger cam, 5 speed, 12 bolt posi. Runs low 13's. Good old Oklahoma beater.

Hey mad torquer , that's just a cammed vortek motor! Holy Shit that thing sounded like a NASCAR motor when you were doing the 6000rpm holeshot "drying the tires" last year in the Adams Mark hotel parking lot. I guess I am impressed by junkyard power  .
