    Yeah another goodm point! I keep forgeting that these are closed front cars. Im so used to earlier cars that I dont think of that!
    Joe's point on the Vegas resonates with what has been said about basics. The hot air has to leave the engine bay, thats an absolute basic! Even if you pnnch the inner fenders full of louvers its a start in the right direction.
     

  2. How would we know the car is lowered if no one told us?:confused:

    Even if the frame was 2" off the ground there would still be sufficient air flow out of the engine bay.

    Don't the Shoebox inner fender panels have factory louvers?

    Or are they curved at the back ala 40 Ford so that air can flow out into the rear of the front fender well?

    Evans and Water Wetter are worthless. Your wasting your money on that crap. Snake Oil has never solved a cooling problem. Spend your money on a more efficient radiator, fan or shroud.
