  4. ......It's from the Hot Rod Street Rod Pictorial pictured above, but Mr. Adair's '40 got a lot of coverage back in the 70's so it probably appeared in various publications.:)

    [​IMG] Setting in his shop waiting for it's turn for re-birth. Orville is building a 32 Woodie currently. He built a duplicate to the red std for someone that wanted to buy the red [maroon really] one, only in black. It was a beauty and probably set the tone for my current black 40 td coupe. He and Louise drove it hard and put it away wet.

  25. I picked up this convertible at Billet Proof NW in June, and took it apart and painted it, added a Super Bell 4" dropped axle, removed leafs in the rear, etc. to get the stance, still need top, boot, and upholstery.
