  1. @Moriarity, I’m beginning to think you don’t get fed enough at home.

I just completed viewing every page, sitting poolside on vacation.
A 39 or 40 coupe has been one of my bucket list cars for a long time. Owning a T roadster, model As and 32 coupes, having another coupe just isn’t in my cards with 2 growing kids. My family likes to participate but we are out growing my prewar hotrods. It was good to see a few 4-doors in the thread. A local 40 4 door is forsale. 61k miles, still bone stock and a clean old car. It may have to find its way into my garage.

I thought I’d never own a more door car, but these rides may convince me otherwise.

Is that one of the glass reproduction bodies that came out several years ago?
I saw an unbuilt display example that was travelling with the world of wheels shows. Nice looking truck.

Any advice on removing the original interior panel behind the rear door? I need to replace the door swing stop.

  26. Take the back seat out, remove the flipper window garnish molding and the assist strap. The side panels are nailed/tacked to the tack strip on the front edge and there is a metal hook on the backside of the panel. Take your time; these things are pain to get out without damaging them.

@warbird1 thanks for the advice. Is it a metal tack strip or was wood still used.
