  6. Been obsessed with this model for years. I tried to contact @Zed a while back about it but I do not speak French. The color is mesmerizing, I wish I knew what it was.

  10. Had all three out today....unseasonably warm in Minnesota. I hope to make some improvements to the 40 this winter (and the three window ).

I've come around to thinking that a '40 Standard with a chrome grille and DeLuxe headlight doors is my favorite look among the '40 variations.

I really love the lighter green piping with the darker inserts. Very cool.

I had thought about posting a photo of a friends (RIP) restored award winning 39 convertable sedan but thought it might be OT for this 40 thread, then I spotted that gray one. Cool cars, I'll have to dig up a photo.

Mark, what is the process of getting those bumpers sucked up to the body? I like that!

Lou, did you swipe the 265 out of that coral and grey 55, and put it in the coupe? LOL!

I just drilled new holes in the bumper brackets that are about 2 inches further forward. they are spring steel so I used a carbide end mill in my Bridgeport. I did both the front and rear bumpers because I had an extra full garage one winter and needed 3 inches to get the garage door shut!!
