  3. I wonder if that top is from another car. The bottom edge of the top and the body don't seem to line up. I know it's probably just sitting on it but the body dips down behind the doors and the bottom edge of the top is straight.

Haha .... I passed on going to the Good Guys Scottsdale on Friday last month since driving there on the 101 from Mesa during rush hour up and back is an exercise in crazy! Neither the 40 nor the Fleetline give me the kind of vision I want and me with only one good eye. I did find some 5" heads for the hinge mount mirrors on the 40, and they helped a bit, but not enough for comfort.

As I threatened a couple of days ago, here is a full-frontal of the 40 with all the new "jewelry" on the front bumper. Thanks to a local swap, the Big 3 San Diego swap, and a buy-it-now on eBay, I collected them over several months. Even got the wings and bumper guards for the back. I'm not a restorer by any means, but sometimes the original stuff just looks right.

Lynn's blog is great! The cloud mist woody and convert I did some years back. The convert left here in 05 and the Woody I did for a friend in 2010. Woody is local-convert back East somewhere.

This coupe belonged to my neighbor Terry Henke in Wenatchee WA back in 1958-9 . As an 8 year old youngster I spent many an hour in my front yard or looking out my bedroom window watching as Terry and his friends tinkered with this coupe in his fathers carport next door. This car was a key element in my life long love of the 40 coupe and was this image supplied to me by Terry over 50 years later thatwas my guide for my recently finished 40 coupe.

Stopped by my friend Dennis McPhail's yesterday. Got myself a new tattoo! I also couldn't resist a pic of the ol' C'dan in front of his sign.

The seats and headliner are actually the same off white color I don't know why they appear different here. I think it would be nice to see more interior shots on this thread.
