Here's 2 pics from 1962 and my '40 Standard, taken at the Ascarate Park drag strip in El Paso. Hard to tell from the old faded snapshots, but it was a pretty blue with a blue and white Juarez interior ... running a flathead. Just a couple weeks after this, my unit was deployed to SE Asia, and I was gone in one week. Had to sell it fast. Always wanted another '40 but life got in the way. Now I've got my eye on two possibilities here locally just as soon as I can sell my '57 Windowed Sedan Delivery ... can't do anything until then cause I don't have garage space.
