I know I have shared this Craig Wise photo before, but dang it...I keep having dreams involving this yellow convertible or one that looks darn near like it.

  3. Not the best image, but someone caught us on the "unofficial" cruise at Birch Bay yesterday. First major outing for the car.

That is one cool picture! It's my new screen saver. Would make a great poster or framed picture!

  11. Got some good sunset pictures when we were out for a cruise last week. Standard Tudor that was owned by a family friend's aunt. She ordered it new in 1940 and it's stayed in her family until we bought it in 2018. We got her running, lowered the front end she is how she's been from the factory. So glad we could resurrect her from sitting for 40+ years! #suedesrule Sunset Suedes 3.jpg Suedes sunset.jpg Railroad tracks.jpg

  12. Dude, you're killing me with those pic's! Such a cool '40. Even cooler with the story that goes with Flo the '40. Wish you guys could make it down to Springfield for the MidAm Forty day, but totally understand.

Cal Tiefenauer gave this belt buckle to me many years ago. Figured since I'm throwing the MidWest Forty Ford 80th Birthday Gathering this weekend, it was time to break out the Brasso and shine it up a bit. The only other guys that I know who have one like it are Dale West and Mike Werle.

(sorry, for breaking the "cars only" post string, but figured it was close. Since @Moriarity clicked "like" instead of "delete", I feel better about it. LOL)

I never tire of this car, guess it is the outrageous in your face hot rod style that I love. When I was in high school (the 50s) guys would be sent home if they had chinos on that were other than black, brown or gray. I chuckle to my self what the faculty would have done tumblr_df1a0db7f141e40a7f488ff860ab2825_c624df58_500.jpg if someone had shown up in this in the school parking lot.

Well somebody must have liked it back in the day judging from all of the trophies.. Although I am not a quad head light fan It looks like the lights were installed and look much nicer than most back in the day. I do have a thing for 4 doors though and this is a nice one.

  27. I think they were referring to the big back window pickup truck, not the 4-door.
