Summer 1975, when the sedan was my daily driver.

 

Wild guess here but, was this picture taken in Sea side or LBI by any chance?.

Good eye, it was taken at 55th Street, Brant Beach, LBI. My grandparents would rent for the season. That house and the one behind it have been replaced with vertical McMansions on stilts, like most of the old places there.

 

Excellent interior.

 

That picture embodies LBI in the 70's, I bet I was right down the street in Barnaget Light when that picture was taken.

 

My 40's first night in it's new shop space.... A little premature but I had to put it some place other than the garage for a couple of nights.

 

That's looking like a helluva nice shop. Would like to see at least one post on it alone. Seems like it would be OK and on topic since it's the resting place for your '40.

 

I will post a picture or two of the shop when it is done and has the 39 and 40 in it. This remodeled section of my shop is 26x 30 with a 12ft 6 inch ceiling on one side for a 4 post lift. It has been a year long project that I hope to get finished by November.
