You know I would feel really bad if I looked at this thread and did not own a 40. How can people not?

 

Ain't that the truth !! So I just went out and got rid of the blue turd ( which I owned for 32 years ) and bought the red one so I wouldn't feel bad.

I know this custom has been posted on here but it lights my fire everytime I see it! Wasn't this from a Dave Bell cartoon? Or did he do a cartoon after the car was created? There was a retired pilot here in NE who took a midwest car builder a single Bell rendering and had a fat fendered convertible built that is a killer car, a cartoon brought to life. Not a '40 though.

 

This 40 is the coolest I have ever seen!

 

My 40 the day I brought it home, it sat in a wheat field for 60 years after the motor got yanked out to keep the farm truck at that time going. Need to get some newer pics uploaded its come a long way since then.
