Man I wish I could have been there to see that. I am saving funds for Bowling Green in 3 weeks then the Meltdown drags.

Another Dan Greenberg shot from the 2017 Stray Kat 500 of my unwashed 40.

Btw, today makes 117 days of the current 143 days of 2017 behind the wheel of a 40 Ford.

Congrats I Rant! You have a great little coupe that is driven and enjoyed not only by you but by others that get to share the road and car events with you.

Well done Dave, you deserve it. Drives the wheels off of it and keeps it looking fresh.

George Gonsalves of the Carbs of Hartford. He purchased this car at 15. The car is currently owned by his son. I just spoke to George this morning and he's in the market for another 40

Found this on FB... Beautiful 40 coupe restored, painted and striped by a senior (Jeff Skinner) in high school back in 1958. Painted Burgundy and flamed in Lime Green with shading in Silver This was my taxi to school thanks to my friend Jeff who owned the car.

First ice cream run this season for my bride of '51 years. She enjoyed coffee fudge at our local drive in ice cream parlor. This winter we had Dennis Day (D-Day Designs of Sterling, MA) do the air cleaner in flames to match the exterior he did a year ago. This car for us is better than any prescription anti-depressant, always puts a smile on our faces. We don't do many organized events any more due to circumstances but we do drive it quite a bit.

Thanks Don, the docs tell me love and comfort is the best I can do now. I am blessed that she still loves the hot rod and therefore I get some love and comfort too. Speaking of comfort, for old bones like mine, the '40 is the way to go. That front seat, mine is stock with velour from a previous owner back in the 80s, is damn comfortable.
