Tomorrow is a big step in my '58 Chevy build, after a 4 month thrash it's time to fire the motor up. A wiped cam lobe forced me to freshen up the 454 and things kinda snowballed from there. In the morning I'll get my usual gas station coffee and a fiver of fresh fuel, if everything goes well it'll be running by noon. Wish me luck...

Due to complications I didn't get the truck fired up until last night. With everything else going on I didn't do any video of the initial fire-up but I shot one this morning while I was out in the garage...

engine sounds great and the truck looks good. I know It sucks not being able to drive your baby but the pay-off now is a reliable driver . Great Job.
