Here's the front of my '55 Desoto. Re-worked openning and splash pan, handmade one piece trim, stock floating grill... NOT a damn merc grill .

  10. my stock topolino grille...these lil cars won an award in 1936 when the proto-type was built for their state of the art stamping process..grille bows forward and also towards the side....these are very hard to find that aren't bent or missing grille bars...it has aluminum trim around the sides and a center bar from top to bottom..and a nice looking top "hood ornament"....i have mine put up..they are hard to find in good shape..i had mine shipped over from gemany...

    Lil Beast front.jpg

this is a custom hand crafted grille insert that i am going to have fabbed up for an extra topo nose peice i have..the guy that builds these builds grilles has built grilles for several cars that have won the Riddler award...what can i say, i love them both!!!

this should confuse some of you guys?
It's a Desoto grille in a Desoto, but it is not an American production grille!
It is a Aussie Diplomat series so the base body is Plymouth. And it's a 1956 by then American Desotos lost their teeth.
