Hot Rods Lester tires

Are Lester tires a popular tire for nostalgic hot rods. I have two 600-16s that I used for mock up. With all the weight on the front I have a potential rubbing issue. I can go with a different spring or smaller dia tires. I really don’t want to run them and possibly damage them if there sought after.
