Goddamn I love these cars. I sold my hot rod a few months ago and I still have my 60 Olds to drive, but its not the same as tearing down the freeway in my 34. I have always loved tudors. Long and low.

    Must....have....

I had this one bought and the guy sold it out from under me, still owes me too if I ever get back up there.
Anyway I planned to hinge the back like a minivan so I could haul stuff. I always need to haul stuff, everywhere I go. Has anyone opened the rear up like that?

Here's mine, I think it's starting to look pretty bad ass. It's got a 6" chop and a 6" channel. 47.5" from the pavement to the top of the roof. 115" wheelbase.

I'll second that! Goddamn Skippy your A is Spot on Perfect! That is just how I want mine to look when done.

  16. This was kinda evil...in a different way. Not the standard low stance most guys are doing to get the creepy factor. But this car had and evil crawl to it. Big block Caddy 500...so it really was'nt a crawl.

Rounded out the roof and trimmed the fat... love these posts...

I looked back throught this thread and seen that the picture of mine was an unfinshed version. Here are a couple recent pictures from the Jalopy Showdown last week.

    I love this thread!

I spent a lot of time looking at the original Early Times cars, particularly Jake's pickup.

(pinstriping by Skratch, BTW...brushed on Rustoleum satin black by me.)

  26. No...different car... 34 three window was a 5 day build.

They 27 is still here, sold it, but the guy had us re-do the whole thing. Different motor, wheels, and flakey paint....I'll show pics when we get the bodywork done....it was built pretty hokey. Firewall was glued in, welds to inner body structure were cracked, plywood floors. Looked cool...but...

  27. Oh yeah...those are your old wheels...
