  2. Can't say I think it's an improvement. I loved the old combo.

Wow, I love the new color. It really aged the shoebox to look like an old Kustom.

These are shitty iPhone photos... I was a huge fan of the old colors too... But this creme color feels so 1950's... It's hard to explain, but the car is a bit richer now.

Wow, I'm surprised he changed from the copper(ish) color!

  10. Still have a flathead? Sounds pretty healthy.

  11. I believe my old pal Richard Glymph had a hand in that repaint. :) Richard on the right with Lee and Steve.

I dunno about that, the old paint job was one of my all time favorite shoebox Ford paint jobs.
I'll admit that it looks great if you never saw it in the other form.

I like the new color much better.

  15. Hmmmmm.......I think it looks a little to much like buff colored primer...hard to say...sure it looks better in person.

  16. IMHO it looks way better copper!!!

In my opinion, the copper would have looked better in a solid color without the lime lower quarter. In the new beige, the lime is more acceptable under the lighter color. Just my thoughts. Not worth a whole lot.

  19. I would have kept the copper and ditched the green !

i cant believe someone would change the color of their car without taking a public opinion poll first . the nerve of him !

  23. Just my useless opinion, but it looks like that gorgeos car's handshake just went from firm and confident to limp and damp. I'm hoping the pictures don't do it justice, or this is unfinished or something.

So I told my wife about this... She is a big fan of the car... and here's her quote:

"It's like Burt Reynolds shaving his mustache."

And you know what? She has a point... Still, it's awful pretty in person. It just feels like a car in person on a little page.

I like both colors. It's the lime I would've changed. I keep seeing neutral colored cars ( like that 40 coupe) and I like them a lot. Is beige the new black?

  27. Looks better now! More 50's The Car! Not Reynolds.:p
