A local insurance agent in Clarinda had quite a collection of cars, from Model T's up through the 70's and 80's (?) including a Boss 429 Mustang that went for over $200K but the one that was interesting was this old shoebox Ford, that may have been a Lee Pratt car, interesting story, what interested me was the four two barrel carbs on the engine. Here is the link to the sale and other info.

I remember the car from old mags. The buyer got a bargain.

That is a steal for a car with that provenance.

Actually, $5700.00 cost for the new owner. Still not too bad of a deal.

He's in Austin, Texas. Maybe some other HAMBers will have his number.

I seem to remember a story I think Pat Ganahl wrote in the rodders journal about a car he was building in Iowa at the time of a divorce. He either sold it unfinished or the wife got It . Can not remember for sure . But I have followed a lot of Lee's cars and I don't recall this one. I thought Lee lived in California . I read He is good friends with Jimmie Vaughan and he lives in Texas. Larry
