We HAMB'ER s are blessed by the work of a man who must have learned alot from or because of his Dad. We benefit from his work with you.

Thanks for not ignoring the creative vision and git-er-done that is surely behind stuff like throwing a Nitrous kit on a Mercedes.... and the fatherhood instincts to go race his son.

You have been blessed and so are we! Thanks. Carry on !

The loss of my father was a milestone in my life. Even tho' I was over forty, I never really felt like an adult until that day. That day, my childhood finally got the hard goodbye.

The pain will always be with you, Ryan, but, with time, it will soften into a bittersweet melancholy .

    Ryan,

My deepest condolences. There is little in life worse than the loss of a father. The memories will never go, but the pain will fade.

Good luck to you and yours.

I am sorry to hear of your families loss. I hope that you can find comfort in knowing that we all care and support you during this time. Sounds like you had a very close relationship with your father which strange as it seems will provide years of smiles in memories. That will help with time.

  20. Sorry for your loss Ryan. I'm lucky to say I still have my father, but the rest of my family of that generation and older are all gone except for a few aunts and uncles. I know it sounds cliché ... celibrate the well lived life and not the loss.

I wish that there was something that I could say. I can tell you this while you will never forget your dad and I know for a fact that you have good memories of him, the grief will pass. I'll keep you in my thoughts buddy, get better and come back to us.

Very sorry to hear you lost your dad! Lost my parents in 1989. My mom died, and within 6 months my dad followed. We figured his heart just wasn't in it anymore. I still think about them often.

  25. My deepest condolences to you and your family, Ryan. Hopefully the great memories you have will help you get through this rough time.

From a father's view, I have kids in their 40's. When the time comes, I hope they will miss me as much as you miss your father. The fact that you miss him so much attests to your love of the man. My sincerest condolences.

So sorry, Ryan. I lost my dad 19 years ago, and still think about him every day. Your dad sounds like a cool guy, love the story about his nitrous kit on his MB.
