Ryan sorry to hear of your fathers passing. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I lost my dad 2 years ago on friday the 13th, July 2012, he is what made me who I am, and it's still very very hard every day. I am very thankful to have had such a close relationship with my dad, even though I think it made it soo much harder to loose him, the fond memories and life experinces I've had because of him make it all worth while. I still expect a phone call from him or to hear his truck rumble up the drive to my garage....but it doesn't happen. I'm sure you will have many of the same days, and want you to rest assured you will be able to make it through each and every one of them. Something will be missing, but the memories never are!!! Cherish them, relive them, share them, and keep on making your father proud!!! Hang in there Boss....

I just saw this Ryan. So sorry for your loss. Your dad was a cool guy. At the first HAMB Drags he came up to me as I was working on the pork on the smoker rig and said "Not bad for a Yankee." Made my day! RIP Doc.

Man I feel for ya. Lost my dad 11 years ago and still miss him. He got me into this thing we call hot rods and I still feel his influence. Remember all the good times. It eases the pain but never the loss.
