    We paid extra for leather furniture years ago that have brands showing! Had leather in the Zipper and switched to Naugahyde because it weathers better.

    The article only quoted wholesalers. Lower wholesale prices don't always mean lower retail prices, especially when retailers are sitting on stock purchased at earlier, higher prices. They could 'prime the pump' by donating to upholstery classes, charity builds, etc.
    I know one broke rodder taking donations...:rolleyes:

  6. I did a full leather interior in the model A that I built. Don't regret it one bit. You have to take into consideration all the post processing. The softening and the dying and the conditioning.
