Here are my pictures now. It was an excellent show, weather wasn’t too bad, hot but breeze blowing most of the time made it bearable. The convertible ran great, finally no sigh of overheating problems

I really thought this Merc was nice. Not Chopped, but definitely custom. LOVED the color of pinstripes against the deep blue

 

I would walk over the top of ten big-motor, mag wheel, red tri-5 Chevys, while wearing golf cleats, to lay eyes on this righteous spot-on mild custom. Nailed it!!!

 

Has this show opened up to included hot rods? I was under the impression it was purely a custom show.

Glad to hear your overheating problem was solved. HRP

 

Pictures don't do the chrome and paint justice. Really nice. Tough to include the curved rear glass on this chop and not have it look weird, but they got it right on this car. See the second pic how it flows from roof to glass to beltline trim.

 

Thanks HRP! The running warm was getting the best of me. I can drive it with out looking at the temp gauge all the time. Yes they have opened it up to hot rods. It’s open to just about everything anymore.
