Last weekend was the second annual Leadfoot Festival, which is a hill-climb and car show at Rod Millens property in Hahei, New Zealand. It was a very good event, lots of variety of cars and a great setting! Here are some pics of the more HAMB friendly cars that were competing in the pits. Gee Cee Ess Special, originally built as a midget in 1937, re-built as a road-racer in 1948. 39 Deluxe coupe, owned since 1959, raced since the 60's. Note the Morris one-piece windscreen, moulded spot lights and custom tail-lights! Anglia race-car, with custom fastback added for better aerodynamics. Lotus twin-cam engine. The fastback conversions are nick-named a Bread-van and were quite popular in the sixties That's all for now!
