great write up mate - really enjoyed following along with this and your four door story. Just picked up an XP ute myself - but being in NSW, we can't just drop a V8 in like you did without all the engineering bullshit that goes with it (read $$). However, thinking I might just keep the old 'pursuit 170' anyhow for now - seems to go well enough .

I still have the ute, was dailying it regularly over summer, its a great turn key and go driver.

Just build your one the way you to and dont worry about the engineering side of things until its finished.

I was speaking to a guy last night from NSW with a traditional V8 powered model A hot rod and he said the same thing haha.

If I could do this build all again I would have done a few things diffently but still pretty happy with it.
