I got another offer for my 56 wagon. This is from a good friend and I really like the car. He is offering his 54 Chevy, runs and drives fine, new Radirs, etc... We are at a difference in value though so he is offering for me to keep my new motor and trans out of my wagon. He pretty much wants to change everything on the wagon and make it the way he wants and I can drop the motor and trans in the 54 eventually. Until then I can drive as is. I know the 54 would need a new rear end, drive shaft and mounts etc....VERY seriously thinking about this one. I love the 54....
Yeah it may work out for both of us. He gets his surf wagon, I get something new to play with. I have enjoyed the wagon and still do but this is pretty appealing.
That's way better than the T bucket you were offered. I really like the 49-54 Chevys, this would be a no brainer for me.
