This was my dad's first new truck. He rode it hard and put it away wet ! It' been sitting by his old garage for as long as I can remember. It finally made it to my project row.
Dads 47.jpg So far the plan is to drop it on a frame and pound the dents out. I figure the patina is perfect the way it is.

I say leave the dents as well. The old truck worked hard for them and all that patina.

I'm sure dad scrapped the frame and axles. It originally had a 16 foot flatbed. The plates on it are from 57. Speedo shows 35,000 miles. I guess it didn't take him long to run it into the ground.

Yup, I like Boyds work to .

I've tried searching. I can't find the COE group. If your still looking for a fuel tank float I have a F3 sitting in my collection. I'll try to remember to look if it still has one.
