do I simply remove the tone ring from the gm out-put shaft and swap it with a speedo drive gear
then fit a th 350 drive housing with gear
    connect to my speedo

is the divot on the shaft and the metal clip that holds the tone ring the same as a mechanical drive

    where to buy the parts??
    4.11's 235 55 15 tire
    what colors please

    or 4.11's 235 55 15 what colour gears please
can you still get the bits

I am NOT fitting a gm tail to a FORD output shaft with the divot in a different place

There was a guy selling the conversion service on Ebay. You sent him your parts, and he did the machine work.May still advertise the service.

No it's not simple. The electric housing's hole is at the wrong angle and location. KatoKings welds in a new boss and machines the proper hole for the mechanical sender. He also sells the drive parts needed to complete the conversion.

a lot simpler option if you're interested..I bought a gps speedo sender from speedway for about $140-150. simple 3-wire hookup & works great...only drawback it takes 6 blocks or so to acquire a signal after being in garage.
