I haven't really had time to work on it much lately, the engine and transmission are rebuilt and I have just about everything gathered up to finish it. The next big project is assembling the cab and get the wood kit installed

I'm stiil working on it just a little slower now, the cab is at a friends shop getting put together and some minor metal work before paint and I have the chassis almost done. Hopefully this month I will have time to get back at it.

Made some progress today, I got the shock mounts pretty well finished. I think I'm going to mount the headlights to them so one I get that done I'm going to send them out to get chromed

 

The cab is just about assembled and ready for bodywork, I am trying to get the chassis finished up so when I get the cab back it I can finish it up fairly quickly.

 

what did you end up doing with the roof ?

 

I found one that's in way better shape

 

I got an update from Jeremy ( dirtypetcock) with some more finish work. The top of the cab to windshield post fit left a gap that we didn't like so he made a filler piece

Talked to Jeremy today, he said its almost ready for primer so I'm going to go check it out in the morning and will post some pics.

 

As an update I found a nice widebed that has been made into a trailer. It's in nice shape and it was less than a repop. I have been trying to decide a color also and since it has a nice Washington blue paint job my mind is made up

I figured I would do a small update. I had a pretty bad atv wreck on Father's Day and broke my right upper arm, left foot, and cracked a rib. I'm finally able to do some work so I set the bed on today. I wanted to get it done for ROG but I've realized that's not happening lol. So I'm banging out some small things and hopefully have it on the road by the end of the year. It's probably better this way so I don't rush thing and do them half assed

 

I also got my rims Back from the paint shop. Im using the narrow 3.5 inch v8 60 rims on the front and the wide 3/4 ton truck rims on the back

 

It's hard to believe but it's been over 2 years since I've done anything on this, I used this chassis on my 28 RPU but I have a mostly stock banger chassis I'm going to put it on. the cab is almost ready to paint, hopefully the photos load
