Just flew 11 hours from CDG Paris to LAX Los Angeles in time for the L.A. Roadster Exhibition. I'll be in Pomona in 3 hours. If there was a long distance award I'd get it.

Haha, sorry to burst your bubble but it’s a 13 hour flight from Brisbane, Australia to LA and there are plenty of Aussies that headed over for the roadster show.

 

You guys enjoy the roadster show, I'll enjoy the parking lot and swap meet.

 

Wish that I would have seen this earlier. I was at your space but had no idea.

Keep an eye out for the two Kiwi couples , Mark and Robin & Danny and Jadzia , Mark took his own super awesome Hemi powered 32 over and the Danny already had his very cool 32 in the US . Both super cool rods worth a good look over. And as super nice rodders you will ever meet .They plan to do some serious miles while there in the US. That’s two very dedicated hot rod couples . Be sure to say hi. Back to the 50s and Vancouver deuce days are on their list. Amongst other events. That’s what life is about right here , build memories and make new friends. They are out there doing just that.

KiWi's be sure to go see my great friend Kenny Sapper @ Speedway Engineering , I typically drive his 27 track roadster in his trade display when I come out to LARS

Thanks Abe, great pics. In the 4th photo, what is going on with the hiboy at the back? Is it louvered down the sides or am I seeing things?

 

That trio of deuce hiboy "post traditional" roadsters really floats my boat.
