Thank You Evel
That was beyond cool.
Seems like, we see these legends every weekend, here in Socal, thinking they will be around forever, not so, unfortunately.
Next time you see Winfield, Barris, Jeffries, Bill Hines etc, talk to them, connect with history, and appreciate what they've done.
You're so right! When I met Larry Watson for the 1st time at Gene Winfields show last year I didn't know he would be gone so soon.
Awesome, what a motor mouth !
Fuck!..... So true!
Man that was too cool, thanks for posting.
The best part of that video!!!! The extra scenes are priceless!!!!! Wish there were more. Coolest of the Cool!!!
Thank you Piero. And thank you for all the work you're doing to bring history to life....we don't always appreciate it until it's gone. Larry Watson forever.
Really Cool ! R.I.P.

Its the least I can do for him.. I have more I'll try to post soon..
I've met Gene Winfield last year at the '09 Syracuse Nats and visited his table this past weekend at the Nats but didnt really talk to him. now that you had said this i wish i had talked to him just to say hi.
Thanks Piero for posting I was actually going to rewatch the DVD tonight. Its kind of crazy I never met the guy but when I found out this morning it almost felt like a relative died.....

Wow, don't know what to say.
Heaven's sporting some new scallops.
We'll miss you Larry!
My story has been that I'd see him at various car shows... but I really had a chance to get to know him at the "Doughnut Derelicts" cruises where he could spout off to the choir!!! Hahaha... he had stories that were enjoyable to listen to when I had time to stick around!
thanks big E........very cool, this hit me harder than I would have thought, huge loss..........
well said Chris, Gene Winfield was in Australia a couple of months ago and I was lucky enough to be part of this metal class work shop, 2 days of his tricks of his trade, old school talent and a gentleman.
RIP Larry Watson
Much Love Brother!!!! Larry Watson R.I.P.
that could not have been more entertaining. RIP...sad day
"Some cocky dutchman came into my driveway with his shoebox.....Ok you son of a bitch. You striped your chevy...stripe my ford!"
Larry Watson was a hero for a lot of us who don't do hero worship.
he helped bring color to a black and white world.
Shame, I never got to meet Mr. Watson. I wish I had. I've made it a goal of mine to meet the legends of the Kustom car world since purchasing my Merc. Hines, Alexander, Barris, Jeffries, Winfield,Erickson, I never made it to Mr. Watson.. Rest In Peace.
my uncle was just talking about him the other day, how he walked into his shop with some friends. my uncle has a print up on his wall that larry did a number of years ago! and how he was soooo happy to see it up! he even signed it! wow this sucks! rest in peace Mr. Watson! rest in peace!
That's cool, thank you.
