    Hi All,

I recently picked up this crusty sign and am wondering if anyone knows anything more about it or where it would have been used? Made in the 60s and marked as being made by the Stout Sign Co in St. Louis. It is just about 12 feet tall and is tin.

It was very rusty when I got it. I was able to get some of the color back. It’s about as good as it will be now.

  2. Can't help with the history, but it is a cool sign for sure. What did you use to clean it?...Don.

I experimented with a few different things but ended mostly using a spray on rust remover. Let it sit for a while, scrubbed a bit and sprayed it off with water.
