cool hope to see more on this one
Wow, what a bummer... I hope Lanny gets things straightened out soon
I'm thinking this is the same Lanny Ericson who came to Moorhead, MN when I was in junior high. He became a city police officer and also opened a speed and custom shop, just off 1st. Ave. North. I had a Columbia bicycle and I painted it red with an old electric sprayer to which you would attach a fruit jar full of paint. I then hand painted white scallops on it and added a chrome bullnose to the front fender and an exaust pipe running beside the back wheel. I can remember riding down to Lanny's shop and hanging around to see what was going on. He had a chevy at the time that has to be the one in the photos here. Lanny's shop eventually moved to the outskirts of Moorhead. I went on to college, got married and moved away from Moorhead for 18 years and I never knew what became of Lanny, or his car. If in fact this is the same Lanny and his car, it brings back some good memories.
Lanny did live there but I don't recal the dates. The car was finished at Gene Winfields in California where Lanny moved to. He now lives in Texas.
I really hope this car gets back on track and is finished up.
