lake headers cut-out (no high tech)

Hi
I'm driving a 31 Tudor with lake headers. We can' t run the hold day like this , because of the law, but open and close them when there are no cops, is not really funny too.
I will not put the electrical system on, because I want to stay in old style.
Does somebody know a GOOD system to open and close them with mechanical valves !?
