  3. Thanks Jen, yours' as always, impressive and so thoroughly, and deliberately, precise and imaginative! Awesome talent kid. Stay tuned, I have one I started a while back I hope to rework and post, if not this week, next week for sure.
    (hint, there's a person laying down stripes on a tri-five 150 Handyman…)

Seems like we have a lot more going on here this week. Great contributions everyone.
Here are a few monochrome images from various events. Just felt like posting something different.

I can't wait to see the actual car if it ends up looking like this. Great concept.

    Beebing - very well done!
rusty! - those old abandoned wrecks on your woodart boards are so cool - I wish they really existed.
Jen (metalhotrodgirl) - your brush work is exquisit - see you in Baltimore hopefully.
Phillippe (frogz) - another stunning creation. Everyone I show your book to loves it.
    Hill_Country-rodshop - nice contributions - I enjoyed them.

    Great work everyone else too.

Have a fun and artistic Labor Day weekend.

    This is how Bantams look before they become dragsters;

Ya, I know that was a stretch to make this sketch on topic.

    Nice work Kristina!

So, Dave, make us a cool version of the Bantom that is on topic. Kind of a before/after thing. Great sketch man.

  27. Thanks guys for the comments. I'm going to take off the rabbit's head on a tighter re-draw and replace it with a goggle wearing dude.
Hotrodkristina, excellent job on the T-shirt design. Hopefully, someday I can get that good doing digital stuff.

If you don't mind my asking, is that burnt in or pen/pencil? If you do mind then no reply is necessary. Mighty fine art.

Dan. Those monochrome images are killer!

  30. Slack,...it's done with a Flair pen, Sharpies and mechanical lead pencil; when it's done it gets 2 coats of satin finish varnish and usually a barnwood frame...the completed board next week, tune in.
    ...thanks for the kudoos...
