    I can get 4 L78-15 Coker's from Summit for 688 shipped.

From a search on here, a few years old, people werent too happy with their Coker tires and suggested diamond backs. Only problem is those tires are like 70 or 80 bucks more each.

Going with the 4" white walls for my 1950 caddy 61 series.

Currently it has some old dry rotted Uniroyal L78-15's on it. If I go to coker's website and search by year, make and model - they dont suggest the L78-15, but some other ones that have a lower weight rating and cost more.

    What do you guys think?

  3. I have the Coker L-78-15's on the rear of my Deuce pickup and they are bias ply,,to my knowledge Diamond back doesn't offer a bias ply.

They have been on my truck for 7 years with absolutely no problem at all. HRP

Thanks. I wanted to make sure they werent total garbage before I spend the money. There seemed to be a lot of complaints in threads from 2012, maybe that was a bad batch?

  5. I've bought 4 sets of Coker bias plys and no problems with any of them, however there were some problems with some of their radials a while back. HRP

I have two cars with them I've pretty much worn one set out and am about to buy another set mine have been great. My last set I bought mounted Nd balanced thru Summit too. I have started using balancing beads in my tires now and like them.
