    Two thoughts:
    1) Wow! That redhead is hot.
    2) Wait, they make pinup models who are NOT covered in so many tattoos their bodies look like the cover of a burnout dude's junior high notebook? Now THAT is progress!

When did the HAMB become a Kulture site?

A "Kulture site"? Pictures of girls with cars have been around since cars were first built. If you would not prefer to view this thread, then don't look it. It is really THAT easy.

Please Kustoms only no Hot Rods or Bobbers. The RR junk will be deleted. Thanks guys.

This thread is designed to show what a "Traditional Kustom" is all about. Fortunately for me the era had a huge amount of beautiful girls posing with the cars.

^^ Buddy Alcorn was no fool.
  18. Back when I was young some people didn't like duck tail hair cuts kept in place with half a tube of Brylcreme(sp?), no belts, sleeves rolled up and metal clips on the heels of your shoes, and I had 'em and liked 'em. Just a trend then, tats, just a trend now. I like 'em.

I totally agree its a fad, I have nothing against people who like tats, lots of my friends and family do. The thing that's different is with the fads you mention, when it passed you could buy new clothes and get a hair cut. Just like the guys who woke up after the 90s and realized their rod somehow got painted pastel pink, they can be changed.
My opinion is my own, but I like the pictures posted because the cars and the girls both have a timeless, classic look that I think will still look great in 50 years.
  20. I think some of pics look good of coarse but I have to say, I do get a good amount of laughs from some of these "modern pinups' " names they give themselves. I don't know maybe its just me but some of em do make me laugh.

  22. Not everyone views tattoos as trendy, but yes a lot of people do it as a trend. Some of us wanted to be tattooed even as a kid.

Skip, cool thread. I like the classic 50's style of kustom cars and womens attire...both add mystery to the subject matter!
