    Paul Spillman only lived about 20 miles from me in Clarksville IN he had the gift of gab really the promoter of the two.I believe Jim Hibbs car was in the Allen Jackson crazy about a Mercury video

    its been a while but I think it was like nsra or kkoa you had to be a member to attend events.I looked at the label on the magazine to see if a # was on it but it wasn't my name must of picked it up at a swap meet because my car was in it.I think I have a box of old style lines but not sure

  4. I was a member of the second iteration around 1998. I have my membership card and an inside window decal. The decal is hard to read because it's backwards, but it's never used. Also have a bunch of the Stylelines magazines.

    Those items are really cool. I have a KOA car club plaque with, established 1949 on the left side and my member number stamped on the right side. I also have two inside window decals, never used.

    where you a member ? Or did you obtain that plaque from someone. Give. Me the number on the plaque and I can research it and tell you who owned it originally owned it

    Yes I was a member in 1998. My member #1150. There were a few of us locals but not an active club.

    "Leadville 96" was my 1st show that I put together. Best show ever!
    Paul Spillman was my father. The two of use were coming home from Lead East, when I said I could do as good or better of a show and my Dad said basically prove it and I think I did. lol That is basically how Leadville was born. Too bad it had to end.
    If you ever want to get rid of the Leadville dash plaque I would love to have it.

    Been a bit. KOA will be attending the James Dean run car show in Fairmont, Indiana in a few weeks. Stop by the vendor trailer and say hello . Looking forward to seeing our older friends and making new ones ! Kustoms forever !!!!
