Just heard sad news that Bob Dzemske Sr. passed away July 30, 2020. Bob was originally from the Milwaukee area, and participated in car shows and related car events his whole life. Bob was living in Arizona for the past several years. I know some who post here knew Bob.

 

Rik Hoving (@Rikster ) posted this kool update this morning... Jak Haines shared a few photos of his Sledge Customs restyled 1940 Mercury project. This stunning Traditional style Custom Mercury is getting closer and closer. They just finished the cut and buff, and basically all it still needs is the interior and putting it back together.⁣

Several years ago Jack hired me to do a few Digital Restyled images to show a few different color options. Originally Jack wanted to paint his Mercury in a dark shade, blue, or teal metallic based. I did a few samples of that for him, and while I was at it I also suggested a few more lighter colors. Colors inspired by the early 1940’s Cadillac Color pallet….
