Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

Discussion in 'Traditional Customs' started by straykatkustoms, Oct 6, 2014.

  1. Are there any more pics of this pikcup? I'm looking for late 50's early 60's 32-34 pickups for ideas for my 33 pickup when I restore it.

If it's any help, the truck was featured in Custom Craft Magazine, Apr., 1960.

    This is REALLY cool!

1947knuck posted the linked picture above of the Gene Winfield built Peter Martinez Mercury. Does anybody know how it went from this (as featured in Custom Rodder March 96--pics courtesy of Rikster's site):

To this (again, pictures courtesy of Rikster's site):

Was the car wrecked or sold? A new owner wanted a paint change? Anyone know?
I can't understand change just for the sake of change. The car is still a stunner, but in my opinion, the green Winfield paint job was pure genius that can't be topped! E
