    the shoebox is cool, but i'm really diggin on the chopped hardtop or conv. 49/50 chev? in front of it.

    I'm probably in the minority but I think that the early Corvette was such a classic, stylish design that it doesn't need customizing or flashy bold paint; it looks best with understated paint and at most custom wheels. It is one of those cars that they "hit the bullseye" with the design. And no, I don't own one, even a wreck would be way outside of my budget. This is just my opinion, I'm sure others will feel differently.
