So does anyone know the asking price? I'd call to find out but I have no place for it and cant afford it and don't want to bother them. When owning and showing my '66 not a lot of people knew what year is was. The '63 though '65 was and is the most popular among car enthusiasts so although my '66 certainly does not belong on this threat, I'm going to include a small shot for those to compare how much work went into this car. My apologies to the op and anyone else who may be offended. Picture 386.jpg

My post above should have read: When owning and showing my '66 not a lot of people did not what year is was.

  7. As I mentioned I don't know if it sold but I think, if I remember, it was on eBay for $75,000.

  8. Larry, I think you had it right the first time? Folks didn't recognize your Riv as a '66 - right?
Anyway, you are correct in noting how much work went into that car!

    Yes Dave.
I attempted to convey that the '63-'65's were and are the more popular years, and the '66 was the poor stepchild and hardly popular at all. In fact at show were cars are led to a parking spot, I was relegated to the back rows quite often. Now if I was driving a Chev. Chevelle, Nomad, Corvette, well...…………….. Leaving now, as this thread is not about my '66, its about very true craftsmanship, imagination, and the art of the automobile customizers.

  15. I'm glad you liked it.I really don't know if it falls in the traditional custom criteria but it is a cool kustom.

    I just love Stude fins!

Hard to trump Caddy fins, but...
(Can you imagine the cojones necessary to cut off those original fins?)

My favorite...practically a bolt-on. So mild, so wild!
(P.S., I love the shorty pipes placement.)
